I graduated from Southern Illinois University (summa cum laude) with a bachelor's degree. My major was Accountancy and Political Science was my minor. While I was earning my master's, I was also a grad assistant with a tutoring focus. I have taken and subsequently passed three parts of the Certified Public Accountant exam, recording scores in the 90s. My experience in many academic areas including Business, Geography, Accounting, and Mathematics. As a tutor, my focus is about helping the students I work with to be successful. My approach is to use relevant and practical examples so that students have a construct that helps them get a clearer appreciation of the content. Some subjects I can tutor are Algebra 1, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Calculus, Algebra 2, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Geography, Cost Accounting, and Social Studies. I live in Glen Carbon, Illinois. I enjoy listening to music, playing the guitar, running, and playing tennis.
